HYPERACIDITY
So no need of introduction as you all no…..
“पेट मै गेस है; सन्डास साफ नही होता…. छाथी मै दरध है…. छाथी मै जलन है!!!!!!!!!.... कट्टा ड्कार आथा है…….”
Do’s:
1. Early morning, empty stomach, after brushing, just take two glasses of warm water (no excuse). In the same way you need to drink lukewarm water at bedtime. (Compulsory). Mean while drink plenty of water.
2. Take your meals regularly on time, don’t skip them.
3. Morning you need to take heavy break fast and night light supper (usually opposite in metros or especially in Mumbai).
4. Always chew your food properly. Include plenty of green and leafy vegetables in your diet.
5. If mandatory to take out side food, try to take genuine food.
6. If you feel acid problem in your stomach then chew some basil leaves. Slowly suck a small piece of Jaggery.
7. A glass of chilled milk is a quick remedy for hyperacidity and heartburn.
8. Almonds are quite effective in treating heartburn; chew few almonds when you experience heartburn.
9. Ginger root with honey taken after meal is effective for treating heartburn.
10. Fruits like apple, watermelon and banana are recommended for people with hyperacidity problem.
11. Take a glass of Buttermilk/day.
Don’ts’:
Avoid fried food, pickle, hot and spicy food.
Avoid unhealthy Wada-pav (you knew what I mean)
Avoid garlic, onion, pepper, radish and cabbage. Avoid unripe fruits. Do not haste while eating.
Avoid curds or yoghurts at the night time.
Avoid strong tea in empty stomach.
Avoid raw intake of Green chilies.
Avoid worries and oil curries. ( all the time it happens in busy life).

BANANAAAAAAAAAAA MEDICINAL USES

Medicinal Uses OF BANANA: All parts of the banana plant have medicinal applications.
The flowers are useful in bronchitis and dysentery and on ulcers;
Cooked flowers are given to diabetics; the astringent plant sap in cases of hysteria, epilepsy, leprosy, fevers, hemorrhages, acute dysentery and diarrhea, and it is applied on hemorrhoids, insect and other stings and bites;
Young leaves are placed as poultices on burns and other skin afflictions; the astringent ashes of the unripe peel and of the leaves are taken in dysentery and diarrhea and used for treating malignant ulcers;
The roots are administered in digestive disorders, dysentery and other ailments; banana seed mucilage is given in cases of catarrh and diarrhea in India.
Antifungal and antibiotic principles are found in the peel and pulp of fully ripe bananas. The antibiotic acts against Mycobacteria.
Norepinephrine, dopamine, and serotonin are also present in the ripe peel and pulp. The first two elevate blood pressure; serotonin inhibits gastric secretion and stimulates the smooth muscle of the intestines.
Alleged hallucinogenic effects of the smoke of burning banana peel have been investigated scientifically and have not been confirmed.
